Our new Ann Clark gourmet Buttermilk Pancake Mix was born when Dave developed a better pancake recipe to complement his syrup. Quality syrup deserves a quality pancake. There's nothing like a tall stack of fluffy pancakes hot off the griddle, with fresh melted butter and real maple syrup. You can do it! Make a big impression - it's going to come out great. The secret to Ann Clark's gourmet pancake mix is premium ingredients, which gives our pancakes a rich and subtly tangy flavor, and reacts with leavening agents in the batter to create air bubbles, making perfect tall and fluffy pancakes. Mix just enough to combine wet and dry ingredients, leaving a lumpy batter. Why? If you overmix, gluten will develop, making your pancakes chewy rather than fluffy.
